Business Expert Competence Center Provisioning

Just imagine contributing to the development and continuous improvement of Rabobank's problem loan management with focus on default data, which is  one of the key elements within the credit risk life cycle and one of the Critical Execution Priorities of Rabobank.

You and your job:

As a Business Expert you are a member of the Competence Center Provisioning Squad within the Area Credit Risk Assessment and Mitigation (CRAM) as part of Tribe CreditCore. You will make the difference by focusing on regulatory and business requirements, policy specifications, process and governance aspects as well as implementation support to improve default data collection. In your role you closely collaborate with your stakeholders within CreditCore and other tribes and departments in Rabobank - both nationally and internationally.

Your work environment withing Tribe CreditCore:

CreditCore is responsible for all centrally managed credit risk business capabilities, meeting business units' expectations, so that they can optimally perform their end-to-end credit process for the client and ensure regulatory compliancy by design. Credit Core Tribe is an integral part of the Enterprise Risk department within the CRO-domain.

Within Tribe CreditCore, around 60 people within five squads work in Area Credit Risk Assessment and Mitigation (CRAM) organized around three clear purposes:

We enable an efficient and compliant assessment of the financial performance and risks of business clients, by supporting our account managers with the right tooling and insights.

We define requirements for loss data components to mitigate credit risk Rabobank Group wide to reduce the cost of required capital. 

We support special asset management, by i) guidance on forbearance and ii) tooling for account managers workflow and provisioning iii) to perform a viability & cost benefit analysis of the strategies at hand.

We also provide framework/requirements for provisioning, write-offs and default data on financings of clients which are not expected to repay their loan.

The Competence Center Provisioning Squad, as one squad within Area CRAM, takes care of the default data, credit risk provisioning and write-off processes by identifying areas of enhancement, elaborating approaches to improve process, governance, data and IT to help the Rabobank having automated, user-friendly and state-of-the-art default data, credit risk provisioning and write-offs processes in place.

Your role as Business Expert in the CCP Squad:

As Business Expert you will be:

  • Identifying, collecting and analysing the organisational needs, clarifying the problem definition if necessary, and translating the needs into solution directions.
  • Assessing the technical and functional applicability, feasibility and regulatory compliance of the proposed solution direction.
  • Contributing to or realising policy plans, setting frameworks or goals. Keeping track of relevant developments, identifying bottlenecks and translating them into policy. Advising on improvement or development of policy.
  • Ensuring the development and implementation of the solution, by working together with internal and external developers, testers and other colleagues, preparing the implementation and transferring knowledge to users.
  • Designing organisational structures and end-to-end processes.
  • Advising the business on new solutions and giving direction on what the solution should look like.
  • Acting as a sparring partner on subject matter issues and delivering business value.
  • Perform or coordinate activities involving good cooperation with internal and/or external stakeholders in the execution of the work.
  • Developing and maintaining a network of relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keeping track of relevant (internal and external) developments, identifying bottlenecks and advising on improvement or policy development.

  • Agile, Scrum, Lean, Aris, Azure DevOps, PowerDesigner and Collibra.
  • Regulatory Reporting such as COREP, FINREP etc.
  • Data analysis and expected credit loss calculation.

This is what we offer you:

  • Based on your experience: up to € 5.811 gross per month (scale 9) or up to €6.926 gross per month (scale 10).
  • Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance.
  • An extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
  • A desk, chair and monitor to set up your home working space and a monthly home working allowance of up to € 40.
  • A personal development budget of € 1.400.
