Job Purpose and Impact

The Business Process Manager - Sourcing will enable strategic goals by driving Business Process excellence for a specific Business Process and oversee process work and improvement projects globally. In this role, you will lead a Business Process Management (BPM) team to manage, sustain and optimize end to end integrated Business Processes with focus on governance, while working closely with key stakeholders to enable a strong process culture within the business by continuously monitoring process health metrics and working collaboratively with EPO to identify improvement opportunities and driving process excellence standards through global SAP deployments.. You will provide expertise and insight to drive business readiness and stabilize processes after technology deployments.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and prioritize the process improvement project portfolio to drive the implementation of optimal process solutions including process performance and health metrics. 
  • Collaborate, lead, and champion change with key stakeholders to ensure complex solutions are implemented successfully while developing critical capabilities such as business requirements management, traceability, value framework, process standardization goals and health metrics.
  • Identify opportunities and collaborate to partner across functional Business Process management teams of EPO’s, RPC’s, BPM’s, analysts and architects, functions and business relationship managers to drive best practices, develop standard solutions and accelerate process stabilization and other technology enabling Business Processes. 
  • Lead initiatives to drive a strong process culture and influence the steering committee to accept new ideas, approaches, techniques, and standards to align process improvements with organizational objectives and strategic plans. 
  • Provide leadership, vision and direction to develop new processes or integrate processes for strategic projects and process improvement initiatives. 
  • Provide change leadership and process guidance for technology deployments, strategic plans and other initiatives.
  • Cultivate a global Business Process network by monitoring and analyzing process performance measures and project-specific metrics. 
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience, with strong expertise in sourcing processes of raw materials (agricultural commodities, by-products, other nutrients) for animal nutrition related manufacturing operations
  • Minimum of two years working experience demonstrating proficiency in BPM methodology, process modeling, process data mining, data analysis, reporting and documentation tools and methodologies

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

  • Continuous improvement methodology and skills
  • Three years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to technical and non-technical people 
  • Confirmed ability to provide breakthrough insights on Business Process improvements resulting in quantifiable process improvement and finance benefit to the organization
  • Portfolio management expertise
  • Financial analysis capability for Project ROI
  • Strong understanding of the meaning of data relying on a deep expertise in the field of domain expertise
  • Ability to carry out integrated process data analysis combining SAP and non-SAP integrated data sets
  • Familiar with process lifecycle management models such as APQC’s Seven Tenets of Process Management 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and set priorities based on business requirements and value drivers
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify performance gaps and root causes
