Category Manager

The Category Manager leads the development and execution of Sourcing strategies for  a variety of categories ranging from Technical Goods & Services to Non Product Related (NPR) Categories including CAPEX Maintenance Projects and Turnarounds. Co-develops the general Procurement strategy and delivers input for the annual Business Procurement Plan. Ensures proper contract implementation with the aim of optimizing Total Cost of Ownership, securing the product/ services quality and mitigating the supply risks by taking care for regional legislation (i.e. Reach), global standards, requirements, policies and procedures including SHE & Sustainability aspects. Manages Contract Compliancy and Continuous Improvement of key supplier's performance.

Who are we looking for?

You have a Master degree (or equivalent through experience) in Business Administration or Engineering (preferably with SCM or procurement as major)

You preferably have knowledge/experience in category management and sourcing, at least 5 years preferably at an international company.

You have project / (supplier) contract management skills and experience (for managing sourcing projects) and thorough subject matter expertise in a variety of categories ranging from Technical Goods & Services to Non Product Related (NPR) Categories that are relevant for OCI.

You excel at making analyses and you easily connect with people. Next to that you speak and write proper English and Dutch.
