Our Continental Europe and Africa Area Operations Manager is responsible for operations in Continental Europe and Africa (CEA) for the Process and Pipeline Services (PPS) organization, Pre-commissioning and Maintenance (P&M) Service line and will be required to deliver the Area Financial Plan and Safe Operational Service Delivery. It is an office-based role with site and customer interaction as required.
As Continental Europe and Africa Area Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Full P&L responsibility for delivering on a +$40M USD annual business plan
- Safe operational delivery to customer in accordance with contracts
- Drive HSE, Quality and Compliance culture through the organisation providing clear leadership and direction in all Safety and Compliance matters
- Ensure all work is delivered in compliance with company policy and local and international law
- Deliver financial plan and proactively react to fluctuations accordingly
- Report financial performance
- Contribute to formulation of annual financial, strategy and business plans and present to senior management
- Attract, recruit and retain skilled personnel resources to support planned business growth
- Closely interface with Sales Team to secure orders
- Interface with other departments and service lines to maximize opportunities for the company as a whole
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have full professional proficiency in English
- Another European language such as French, German, Dutch, Italian would be beneficial
- Have significant experience managing onshore and offshore operations in the services sector
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering and/or oilfield related discipline and be able to travel 25% of the time
- Demonstrated leadership skills including developing and communicating a vision, developing and executing business strategies, leveraging knowledge of operational management techniques and financial data
- Fully self-sufficient management capability with a proven track record of growing a business
- Have a high level of financial acumen
- Unyielding personal commitment to Integrity, able to drive safety, legal, environmental and process compliance across the organisation
