Job Purpose and Impact

The Change Management Lead is responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive strategy for the Change Management capability within Cargill. This role focuses on building change leadership and management expertise, enabling successful change initiatives, and driving a culture of change readiness and adoption. The Change Management Practice Lead leverages industry trends, external networks, and best practices to ensure Cargill remains at the forefront of Change Management practices and delivers effective outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for the Change Management capability within Cargill, including defining vision, goals, objectives, governance model and a roadmap for enhancing Change Management expertise across the organization.
  • Leveraging the current Cargill change frameworks, refresh the standardized Change Management framework and methodology, defining best practices, processes, and toolkits for effective Change Management execution and ensure relevant capabilities are deployed in a consistent and effective way across Cargill.
  • Provide guidance and consulting services to Business Enablement, OD/Change Directors and Consultants, and teams involved in change initiatives, consulting during Change Management planning, impact assessment, and addressing resistance.
  • Deploy relevant capabilities throughout the specific practitioner pool, and enhance capability maturity by upskilling and equipping practitioners with the methodology and tools required to deliver the Change Management service and establish professional communities facilitating knowledge sharing, learning, and collaboration among practitioners
  • Partner with key stakeholders (e.g., business leaders, HR Business Partners) to ensure alignment and understanding of the Change Management capability, promoting awareness and adoption of Change Management practices through effective communication and engagement.
  • Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness and maturity of the Change Management capability to new demands and needs; gathering feedback, track metrics (in partnership with DR&A) to measure the impact and implementing improvements to enhance the Cargill's Change Management practices.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging practices, and external networks, leveraging insights and innovative approaches to enhance Cargill’s Change Management capability and ensure relevance, creating centralized thought leadership that can be leveraged by Cargill’s practitioner pool and leaders.
  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree or other post-secondary degree
  • Change Management or equivalent certification
  • Experience working in a global setting and in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Experience anticipating emerging issues, problem-solving and implementing new business solutions
