As a Channel Sales Manager Distributor’s, you will develop de channel strategy and drive the sales performance of Electrification Portfolio Products and Solutions in Romania, specifying and implementing effective sales and business-development initiatives in line with global strategy. Position reports to EL Sales Manager.

Your responsibilities

  • Defining and implementing the Distributors Channel strategy and budget and ensures regular follow-up. Responsible for providing segment strategy input for the Sales team, and for harmonizing the market sales and marketing plans;
  • Contributes in critical sales and key frame agreements negotiations. Support the Sales Manager in the offering and proposal process for Distributors partners;
  • Providing assistance in driving strategic partnerships, developing relationships with partners, customers and other decision-makers
  • Ensures appropriate communication, promotion and training activities in the Distributors Channel. Coordination of activities with the distributors' branches together with the regional sales engineer on-site of the branches
  • Identifying new business opportunities and creating clear strategies to convert them
  • Coordinating the information flow around sales activities, and providing forecasts and market intelligence to marketing and sales
  • Establishing strong customer relationships and maintaining a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sale
  • Conducting contract risk assessments and working closely with relevant parties to mitigate risks

Your background

  • More than 5 years of experience in direct sales and sales management, working as Sales Manager/Channel Manager/Segment Manager position with electrical products and solutions and knowledge of electrical market;
  • Technical university degree
  • Excellent level of English language;
  • A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Experience of business development, account management and cross-selling
  • A clear grasp of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms, collaborative approach, a customer-focused mindset and a professional, “can-do” attitude
  • Willingness to travel to Distributors locations/branches.
