Job Title:Distribution Specialist
Location: Hoofddorp, North Holland, Netherlands
Contract length: 12-month + Performance based extension
Work Structure: Monday - Friday, 40H/W
Role Overview:
Are you ready to make a difference in the groundbreaking field of cancer immunotherapy? We are searching for a dynamic individual to join our client's Biotechnology facility as a Distribution Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing, managing, and maintaining a GMP/Non-GMP warehouse and inventory management system.
Some of the responsibilities for the Distribution Specialist include:
- Plan, oversee, and participate in the warehouse management operations and activities to support (production) operations and other internal customers.
- Manage the day-to-day assignments of warehouse job tasks and monitor completion of required activities.
- Receive incoming shipments of non-GMP/GMP materials and equipment following established procedures
- Cross-train in all areas of warehouse operations.
- Pick, pack, and ship finished product, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure department supplies are inventoried and ordered.
- Assist with risk assessments and SOP development.
Requirements:
- Relevant education in science, engineering or facilities (MBO/HBO level)
- At least 3 years of experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical facility
- Previous experience in Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain
- Knowledge of warehouse operations in a GMP as well as a non-GMP setting
- Cold chain knowledge and experience in a pharmaceutical or medical setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment
- Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities
- Living in the Amsterdam area and in possession of own transportation
- Valid EU work permit required.
