About the Role
To support our growth Industry 4.0, the Professional Services department in the Benelux is looking for an Engagement Manager. As an Engagement Manager you will be the customer’s first engagement point within the Benelux services team. The role provides direction for leadership of PLM and MOM engagements from opportunity through to delivery and program governance.
You will be responsible for steering and facilitating the efficient collaborative pursuit of services business opportunities. Working together with the Sales and Pre-sales teams to ensure a commercially robust approach is adopted and providing ongoing commercial support and consultancy to the services team throughout the full project deliverer of Responsibility.
Maintaining and developing positive relationships within customer accounts, drive the positioning and messaging of the customer engagement to ensure a consistent and professional experience for the customer throughout the Siemens engagement
Working In conjunction with the sales and presales team, identify and manage the engagement with all relevant external and internal Partners.
Manage key topics related to project governance, solution design, system architecture, integration, and user organizational change to successfully define project implementations.
Supporting of relevant subject matter experts and Project Management, create and present solution proposals, rough order of magnitude, contract, margin calculation and risk assessment for use in commercial negotiations and project initiation.
Acting as bid leader to successfully manage the sales cycle towards contract close.
Delivering customer presentations to win new Software and Services opportunities
Your Qualifications & Experience
You hold a bachelor’s degree or higher (Industrial Engineering or International Business Administration)
Experience in Sales & Services in the technology consultancy field.
Good commercial acumen in bringing opportunities to contract
Experience or strong affinity in consulting activities in complex IT transformations in the domains of PLM / ERP / MES / MOM / SAAS
Understanding of software deployment and services delivery strategies (Agile/Waterfall etc.)
Basic Project management skills
Adaptable and flexible; able to respond to requests/requirements at short notice with little lead time
Ability to manage and deliver multiple priorities in a constrained timeline.
