YOUR ROLE
Group Sustainability is responsible the corporate sustainability strategy development, implementation, monitor and reporting progress. The team is closely working with sustainability professionals in engineering, operation, construction, procurement, and local countries. In this role you will be reporting the sustainability manager.
Your responsibilities include climate change risk assessment, greenhouse gas emission projection, net zero path monitoring and presenting, carbon credit due diligence and greenhouse gas accounting. Further, the role will expand to other environmental topics such as pollution, water & marine resources, & biodiversity & ecosystems, resource use & circular economy etc. In addition, you will coordinate World Ocean Day, contribute to strategic initiatives, and position our sustainability strategy within the organization and the market.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Lead and collaborate the day-to-day activities of the climate change activities.
- Align with internal stakeholders (Commercial team, Compliance, Finance, Risk, Internal Control, Operations, Engineering, Project) to manage climate risk assessment and ensure alignment with our corporate strategy.
- Build group GHG accounting, monitoring, and reporting dashboard.
- Monitor companies Net zero targets and status.
- Build Paris Alignment narrative using SBTI and GHG protocol.
- Keep alignment with the developing local, state, and international standards e.g., SBTI, CSRD/ESRS

YOUR BACKGROUND & COMPETENCES
- A relevant degree such as a Bachelor’s or master’s in engineering, economics or finance, or chemical, or mechanical engineering.
- Experience (>5 years) in engineering, project management, financing, sustainability, and operations, preferably in the oil and gas sector
- Knowledge of sustainability, especially climate change
- Team player with the ability to motivate, inspire, and challenge team members.
- Risk assessment skills aligned with our corporate strategy.
- Solution driven and creative.
