The purpose of the role is to establish a finance focal point for (non consolidated) investments in renewable energies, carbon emission reduction projects and other future investments in low carbon energy solutions. Next to the oversight on the investments you will be running other improvement projects across multiple finance area's as well (e.g. support GHG accounting/reporting, joint venture reporting/dashboarding).

Description
You will be part of the Rotterdam finance team where you will report to the Finance director Benelux & France.
- In this position you support the entirelifecycle of investments in a variety of finance processes like:
- Run financial due diligence for future investments
- Support post-acquisition/merger integration projects
- Support the investments in their funding needs
- Develop monthly reporting cycle for non consolidated entities of our client
- Ensure company results are IFRS compliant and timely reflected in our client's Group reporting
- Point of contact for external advisors/auditors
- Build valuation models for acquistions or PPA purposes
- Run and support improvement projects across the finance function.
Profile
- At least 4 - 6 years working experience in an international environment (Big-8 transaction services or accountancy firm)
- Masters degree in Accounting/Control
- Sound knowledge of corporate law and income tax is a plus
- Hands-on ability to implement swiftly and effectively by taking ownership
- Fluent in English, written and verbal (Dutch & German is considered a plus)
- Back ground in (renewable) energy Industry, carbon emission trading is considered a plus.
