The Finance Director is responsible for the business unit FlexiForce EMEA and provides timely and accurate delivery of financial and commercial reports, KPI's and analysis. You will have a straight line General Manager FlexiForce EMEA and a dotted line to CFO SDC.

The headquarters is based in Barneveld, The Netherlands.

Description

  • Responsible to prepare the Management reports for the commercial activities in the business unit.
  • Takes a leading role to discuss all reporting matters for the Business Unit (BU) and the local BU companies (Country Managers and the local finance teams).
  • Responsible to organize and provide guidance for preparation of the plans, budgets and forecasts for the BU entities.
  • Performs the analysis of the monthly results and support the BU entities (country managers and the local finance teams) to prepare the Business reviews/Board Meetings. Analyses include review of the monthly financial reports; KPI's and monitor the BU entities performance against plans/forecasts. Report on major deviations to the BU director.
  • Supports the entities with relevant controlling activities, challenge the monthly results and support to create action plans for improvement.
  • Identifies business reporting requirements, drive the businesses to standardize reports and reporting solutions.
  • Participates in projects including preparing and review of business cases (investments, opening new locations, acquisitions etcetera).
  • Supports the business in order to drive the business forward and reach the financial objectives set
  • Responsible to review compliance to local reporting legislation (preparing statutory accounts, timely submit tax returns and other legislation).
  • Responsible to check that the commercial entities in the BU are compliant to the guidelines as defined by ASSA ABLOY.

Profile

  • Completed Master level education in the field of Business Control, Business Economics, Business Management or similar.
  • Proven experience in a similar role preferably in an international organization. Key focus is business controlling, seeing trends and find underlying reasons. Proactively drive improvements and deviation measurements and activities.
  • Excellent written and spoken skills in English and Dutch.
  • Willingness to travel ~ 15% and work in international setting.
  • Understand the importance of meeting deadlines and thrives in a challenging international environment.
  • Team player with ability to influence key individuals at multiple levels of the organization through effective verbal and written communication.
  • Problem solver with the ability to prioritize workloads.
