About this role:

Food Safety is a fast-paced and exciting area for JUST EAT, created to ensure quality, consistency, adherence and incentives across the business.  We make sure only the right restaurants make it online and customers have the right information to make informed takeaway choices.  Our team works with every internal function, plus our restaurants, consumers, government groups, and more.  We are part detective, part diplomat, part process machine, and are here to ensure our consumers love their takeaway experience.

The role follows the following shift patterns: Tuesday to Friday 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday 9 am to 5 pm.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Upholding policies relating to Food Safety standards and procedures and communication of these to Partners
• Taking inbound and making outbound calls to partners who are non-compliant with our policies
• Dealing with high-risk cases to solve them swiftly and efficiently.
• Process escalated cases related to Food Poisoning, Halal, Kosher, Food Allergens, Health and Safety, Licensing and business registration
• Working with the Food Safety Manager, Sales and Account Management teams to build and maintain relationships with local authorities & the Food Standards Agency to implement effective programmes to support our takeaway partners.
• Working with Marketing and Ssales teams on partner communications
• Working with third parties to assist with improvement programmes including Health & Hygiene training from LRQA, Cleaning Range and new Digital Food Safety management Systems from Check it for both internal and external customers.
• Advising internal and external customers about policy and procedures, escalating issues and suggesting changes to policy.
• Keeping training material and internal communications up to date,
• Documenting, reporting and communicating changes to policy and procedures.

 What will you bring to the table?

• Passion for working within a big team and being a great communicator 
• Ability to communicate to a variety of audiences
• Experience in the food industry or a compliance role would be a bonus
• Administration experience at volume
• Ability to stay calm and controlled when faced with adversity
• Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
• Presenting skills and training experience would be a great bonus, but not essential 
• Experience handling different forms of contacts with customer enquiries/ restaurants
• Must have a basic understanding of data handling and data related processes  
• Excellent leadership skills (Not required as such, but would be great to have)
• Experience in dealing with high-level escalations and working with different stakeholders
