Gl Accounting Manager

As a GL Accounting Manager, you provide daily management to a team of 2 employees and you interact with 3 Financial Controllers, analyzing and working on the financial figures and provide input for the annual accounts. This is a broad financial role in which you can fully develop yourself.

Description

• Managing the general ledger of the various entities, including administratively taking care of the delivery of the monthly figures and the closing journal entries,
• You are responsible for preparing various reports and including the period figures in the Group's consolidation package,
• Maintaining and improving balance sheet specifications including providing support for the delivery of internal control programs,
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns including intra-community deliveries and CBS returns,
• Assisting with accounting issues and preparing accounting papers (e.g. impairment tests, valuation of inventory, provisions, etc.),
• Providing financial data and explanations for the year-end closing to both internal and external accountants,
• Supporting the Financial Controller,
• Ensure compliance with financial guidelines and regulations,
• Continuously strive for process improvement and efficiency within the financial department,
• Leading a team of 2 employees.

Profile

• Minimum HBO working and thinking level
• Approximately 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector,
• You are ready for a step in your career and enjoy working in a dynamic, globally operating company,
• Fluent in Dutch and English,
• Working independently, team player, negotiation and stakeholder management skills,
• Strong communication skills
