Sharing the realization of Philips’ mission and Health Technology strategy by being part of a team that provides insights on risk and compliance to make better decisions, drives operational excellence within their department, and coordinates team collaboration. This is a 1-yearfixed-term contract for external applicants.

You’re responsible for

As a Global Support Operations Manager you’ll be responsible for supporting with the following key activities. Your focus areas will be set based on your ambitions and profile and team profile:

  • Data analytics and management reporting. Using data from various sources run analysis and turn these into valuable insights, which supports leadership in decision-making with respect to risk.

  • Planning and scheduling of the engagements is done by the department.

  • Performance management. Monitor and report on departmental Key Performance Indicators.

  • Process excellence. Maintain and improve standard ways of working and deploy these (according to Lean methodology).

  • Perform analysis on the development of Enterprise Risks.

  • Cost Control. Keep control over costs and budgets and proactively flag any variances to the plan.

  • Project benefits capturing. Assure that projects are closed correctly and improvement actions are captured

  • Automation. Ensure the maintenance and improvement of enabling IT for the different processes including SharePoint, Qlicksense, One Note, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Team communication: Ensure that team members in the processes are aligned, this also includes communications with various stakeholders outside the department.

You’re a part of

Philips Internal Audit (PIA) is one of Philips Corporate Departments reporting directly to our CEO and supports Philips' purpose and strategy realization by reinforcing risk management as a core competency and supporting a high-performance culture through independent review and support. PIA consists of 40 colleagues globally. The Global Support Operations Team (GSO) is a team of 5 that supports smooth operations and acts as a linking pin to the various teams within PIA (Internal Audit and Risk & Compliance). We provide insights to make better decisions, we drive operational excellence within our department. We ensure compliance and we coordinate team collaboration. To support our ambition, we need your drive, energy, and pragmatism.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master's degree in business administration, finance, mathematics, or any related field to Health Technology

  • Previous working experience in an international organization is preferred (1-3 years)

  • Analytical skills and mindset, proactively sharing insights and ideas

  • Your purpose connects with our organizational purpose

  • Enthusiastic communicator and team player, a global orientation

  • Accurate, precise, and a high standard of integrity

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)

  • Dutch language skills are nice to have
