The DHL Data & Analytics team consists of more than 120 talented Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Data Scientists, and Architects. The headquarters is based in Bonn.  DHL Data & Analytics aims to promote a data-driven culture and advance digitization within the DHL Group. 


The opportunity in a nutshell:
You will be a core member of DHL Consulting’s HR & COO team, overseeing professional development for both DHL Consulting and DHL Data & Analytics, by partnering closely with the senior management team. In your role, you identify company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives. You will actively search, creatively design, and implement effective methods to enhance the development of employees. The position offers the possibility of a part-time contract with a minimum of 32 hours per week. Some travel within Germany will be required to facilitate training.

What you'll do: 
  • Manage and continuously improve the People Development process including preparation of bi-annual People Development Conferences for both organizations.
  • Manage comprehensive People Development & Performance Management Power BI Dashboards, incorporating key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance-related data to enhance talent development procedures.
  • Drive the adoption of a continuous feedback process including change management.
  • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs incl. reporting.
  • Drive and improve various learning methods companywide (e.g., training catalog, coaching, online trainings, DHL Certified resources, external trainings)
  • Act as coach and advisor to employees regarding training and development planning.
  • Develop and manage in-house training courses in cooperation with external providers.
  • Plan and participate in selected internal trainings as a facilitator.
  • Manage and advise resources supporting you in professional development and training execution.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with external providers in professional development and training design/facilitation.
  • Monitor and evaluate trends on best practices to ensure the effectiveness and quality of our development and training processes.
  • Support active talent management in co-operation with global Talent Managers and serve as a contact for employees in terms of DHL Group internal placement.
  • Identify and lead projects aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our processes when needed.
  • Develop and track the L&D budget including negotiating contracts.
  • Advise management on internal communication/change management needs.
Qualifications:
  • University degree with outstanding academic results.
  • Minimum five years of relevant work experience in the professional services sector, ideally as a consultant or as a Professional Development and Training Professional.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in People Development and learning; a coaching certification would be a plus.
  • Experience in project management and proven ability to think creatively when developing new concepts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen.
  • Strong team player and persuasive personality with the ability to quickly build rapport with employees, internal stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for defining innovative approaches to enhance professional development and training practices.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); fluency in German is a plus.
  • International work experience is desired.
