Summary:
In this role, you will be the strategic leader of the organization responsible for the delivery of People Operations services across the North, DACH & BeNeLux sub-region for GE Vernova .
You will have full accountabilities for all HR Operations, Payroll and Benefits admin, service & delivery activities within the sub-region, and partners closely with other HR & Product teams to standardize & digitize processes and utilize tools to drive compliance, productivity and efficiency. This role is also responsible for the leadership & effective coordination and implementation of HR business processes and procedures across HR functions to champion simplification and eliminate redundant or non-value-added activities. Position requires broader understanding of implications for the entire organization and has direct impact on business results.
Essential Responsibilities:
You will establish and run operational delivery across a network of global and virtual locations - driving productivity, world class service, optimizing global scale and local reach
You develop the strategy for an optimized HR Operations ecosystem, building a service delivery model for quality, cost, and compliance
You provide leadership and coaching to employees and continuously raise the bar for our talent, ensure the team is developing and closing gaps towards becoming a world class product delivery/service team
You will inspire and guide a growing team; foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, innovation, LEAN, hire and retain exceptional talent for a high performing workplace
You will drive and continuously improve the service for employee and people leaders by strategically optimizing service, language, local needs with global strategy and driving first-time resolution while educating employees and leaders to self-serve
You own and manage the full suite of operational performance metrics (qualitative/quantitative), collaborating to ensure they are constantly relevant against product specifications and service principles
You forecast demand changes and keep the People Operations organization proactive and agile
You deploy resources to serve as case managers to enhance the employee experience through significant life events
You will drive continuous improvement across all elements of service delivery and apply lean management principles to enable execution, compliance and on-time delivery of products and services
You will work with the Regional Product Deployment & Service Excellence Leader to drive activity to a self-service model. To do so you leverage innovative technologies (e.g., RPA / AI) to drive productivity, support multi location model and allow human resources employees to focus on moments that matter
In collaboration with peers, IT, and the business, you define overall strategic priorities for the regional team, which will include aspects of policy & process changes, technology enhancements, new product development, simplification opportunities, regulatory and legal changes, and ensure optimal delivery model for the organization.
You leverage a deep knowledge of region, industry, customer, and GE Vernova People Operations products to provide contemporary, compliant services
You drive customer service excellence and continuous process improvement culture across the business; instill the culture at all levels globally
You maintain up-to-date contingency plans and business continuity plans as required
Required:
Based on a Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge or experience a similar educational background you have gained a broad experience in HR Operations/Service Delivery in multi-national companies or large corporation roles
Significant experience in direct people leadership.
Prior professional work experience with demonstrated achievement and leadership in regional HR, and/or Operations/Service-oriented environment
This job may require occasional travel to other locations within the region.

You are able to speak other European languages than English
Proficiency in HR systems (ex. Workday) and technologies
Financial acumen – managing P&L operating plan
