Our client is a global biotech company which is part of a Global family of companies active in Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices and Consumer Health Care. Within this family the company focuses on the development and production of lifesaving medicines. At their site, 800 talented and multi-scaled people are working in a dynamic culture in which innovation and a 'can do' state of mind are the central points. For them we are searching for an Interim Interim Arbeidshygienist / Industrial Hygienist to strengthen their Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) team.
FUNCTIEOMSCHRIJVING
• You are responsible for the site’s Industrial Hygiene program to assure that accurate controls of chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic hazards are in place.
• You provide detailed risk identification (using specific tools) and evaluations (containing monitoring plan, measurements, statistical analysis, reports). You drive the short- and long-term actions in a control plan, based on these specific risk assessments.
• You convince the leadership team in developing and implementing a containment strategy to ensure compliance with EH&S local regulations and Corporate standards.
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams involved in R&D, product development, testing and small-scale manufacturing to ensure Industrial Hygiene aspects are considered at the beginning of new projects or changes.
• You are the first point of contact to investigate, analyze and tackle identified problems related to the Industrial Hygiene field.
• You participate in local or global EH&S programs, projects and initiatives as team member.
FUNCTIE EISEN
• You have a relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent by experience.
• You have a formal education in Industrial Hygiene/ Arbeidshygiene (AH)
• You have experience and expertise in industrial hygiene in a pharmaceutical, chemical, R&D or manufacturing environment. A focus on highly potent substances can lead to preference.
• You demonstrate a strong personal leadership with skills working within diverse teams.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Dutch.
• You like to work with people at all levels, in a sophisticated organization.
