Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) internship at HEINEKEN Global Supply Chain

The internship

 

As an Intern, you will be part of the DEI tribe of Global Supply Chain and will work closely with People Function of Global Supply Chain. You will provide support on communication on DEI activities, you will be involved in starting up the Women in Supply Chain initiative, planning of DEI events (DEI day, Women in Supply Chain talks, trainings, etc.), creating videos and other visual materials and maintain link with Global DEI team and DEI teams in other functions. You will report to Director Research and Development and be supervised by colleagues from DEI tribe of Global Supply Chain.

During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department. We give you the trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur. The department

Global Supply Chain is one of the biggest departments in the HQ of HEINEKEN. Global Supply Chain is focused on driving standardization, continuous improvement and innovation in logistics, beer production process, planning, research and development, technology, and analytics around production process in 180+ HEINEKEN breweries across the globe. Since 2018 Global Supply Chain is driving DEI agenda through DEI ambassadors united in DEI tribe. As of 2023 as part of DEI tribe we drive Women in Supply Chain affinity group. Both initiatives are sponsored by Global Supply Chain Leadership.


The terms of employment

  • Your starting date is 1 May 2023
  • The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
  • The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
  • It is a practice-oriented internship
  • You will be based in Schiphol and Amsterdam.
  • You will receive an internship fee of €500 gross pm based on fulltime
  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

 

The start of your internship

DEI ambassadors and People partner of Global Supply Chain will support your onboarding. Furthermore, you can connect with other interns doing internship in DEI in other departements.


The unique you!

 

  • Passion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Currently studying for a master in Organisational Psychology, International Communications or HR
  • Ability to work in structured, independent manner and able to prioritize your work accordingly.
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in English: written, spoken and interpersonal

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
    1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
    2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  2. Physical presence at the location of your internship. We believe that you learn most when you can work directly with your colleagues. It is therefore not possible to work completely remote and HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing.
