It Operations Manager

As an IT Operations Manager at Urban Gym Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, supporting our growing network of fitness & wellbeing clubs and operational HQ in Amsterdam. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our IT department, managing a team of talented technicians, and ensuring the security and reliability of our IT systems. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including network administration, systems management, and help desk support. Remaining hands-on with the technical side is key whilst you build your teams. 
• Manage and grow a team of IT technicians across different disciplines, providing guidance and mentorship to help them develop their skills 
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations 
• Identify and resolve IT issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity 
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that IT systems are aligned with business goals 
• Assist the Head of IT in the implementation and maturing of ITSM practices 
• Own Request Fulfilment, Incident Management, Major Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and Asset Management 
• Analyse IT expenses and provide regular reports to the Head of IT and stakeholders 
• Help develop the IT department's annual budget 
• Forecast future IT expenses based on growth, projects, and trends 
• Find ways to save money on IT without reducing quality

You:

• 5+ years of experience as a senior systems administrator or network administrator 
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team of IT professionals 
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and security principles 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
