The Division: S&P Global Market Intelligence
The Role: Java Developer
The Team:
The data delivery team provides a platform for distributing data to clients.
The platform is widely used within the company and serves many external clients.
You will be part of the core API team, one of seven development teams in data delivery.
The core API team is responsible for the core functionality of the platform.
The team uses an agile development process, which includes test-driven development and continuous integration and delivery.
The team carefully selects and extends its toolset in order to improve productivity.
Tools which are currently in use include
JUnit, Mockito, Java 17, Guice, Gitlab, Amazon Web Services, MongoDB, JIRA and Confluence.
The Impact:
Delivering data to clients in a timely manner is key to the success of the company. As a software engineer, you will need to focus on reliability, performance and scalability. In addition, our business is highly dynamic. Therefore, you will also need to anticipate future requirements and ensure that code is maintainable.

What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for creative people with a passion for programming and an eye for detail.
We highly value communication skills, an open mindset and client focus.
A recognized academic background in computer science is highly desirable.
Experience in the field of distributed high concurrency systems is a big plus. Familiarity with the financial services industry is welcome but not required.
