This role, based in Utrecht, involves collaborating with clients to develop effective business and IT strategies.
Responsibilities:
- As Lead Business Analyst, you will use your expertise in the field of business analysis to bring IT projects to our customers to a successful conclusion.
- Your knowledge of technological developments and innovation forms a basis for maintaining long-term relationships at management level within client organisations.
- You convert trends within and outside the financial sector into new propositions and create opportunities for business and new assignments for the customer.
- You collaborate and provide substantive leadership to an agile team of Business Analysts and developers at the client and coordinate all work and the planning of sprints and backlogs.
- You will use your leadership skills and people skills to coach a number of Business Analysts and support them in their personal and professional development. The first assignment you will work on is an internal project at our in-house pension solutions. Three years ago, we went live with pension administration for one of the largest pension funds in the Netherlands. For this, we designed an innovative and tailor-made IT platform in which process automation is central.
- You will play an important role in the further development of this platform.
- You will work as a lead consultant for other (external) clients.
- The role is designed in such a way that 90% of your time is spent refining functionality for IT, while the remaining percentage is spent on management.
Your future home
You will become part of the Go To Market Insurance Tribe consisting of around 30 other consultants with expertise in business analysis for Life & Pensions and Property & Casualty and project management in Transformation & Innovation. It is a close-knit team that closely feels developments in the insurance industry closely. Together, you will work towards a common goal and help our clients stay in development. You will also supervise 4-5 consultants in their development.
You will be working in the Financial Services Business Unit. What does that entail?
Here we focus on the financial market: banks and insurers. We provide our customers with advice on ICT issues and supply skilled people to realise the advised solutions for them.
Requirements:
You already have extensive experience in business analysis and have some affinity with leading a team. You have a helicopter view, keen eye and solution-oriented attitude that allows you to act as a reliable sparring partner for stakeholders and the team. You are clear and convincing in your communication and are able to motivate and help both client and colleague. You offer a listening ear. In addition, you do not shy away from tools and digital platforms such as Azure and AXyware. And you continuously stay abreast of the latest technological and market developments within the Life & Pensions domain.
- a completed college or university education. For example in the field of business (information) science or business economics
- reasonable experience with business analysis; knowledge of the pension or insurance sector is a plus
- at least 1 year of work experience in a management position
- excellent Dutch and English communication skills.
