About you

 
Do you: 

• Have at least five years of experience designing learning products? 
• Have the desire to find and develop new opportunities by engaging and motivating people?
• Possess a passion for enabling and empowering IKEA co-workers to be confident and competent in their roles?
• Have experience leading complex learning projects or assignments across teams and in an international and culturally diverse work environment.?
• Act as a role model, at all times, of IKEA culture and values?
• Have a passion for Home Furnishing and improving people's life at home? 

About the assignment 

• Be the centre of expertise of Learning Design and formats for the product teams and other relevant stakeholders. 
• Secure that the Franchise Learning Offer provides best in class learning experience for our co-workers
• Lead the standardisation of Learning Design formats and processes for the learning creators and product teams in learning
• Lead the Learning Design and/or high-level Learning Design of new IKEA Concept learning products and lead the identification of potential (learning) design improvements of existing ones always with end user in mind and to minimize the operational running costs. 
• Lead the exploration, development, and implementation of innovative learning technologies in collaboration with suppliers, the Digital team, learning creators and other Learning Design Leaders
• Leverage data and insights to secure the impact and effectiveness of learning products and technologies, enabling continuous improvement. 
• Collaborate closely together with peers across the totality of IKEA Retail Concept and across IKEA to strengthen and contribute to a strong and relevant IKEA franchise offer 

About the role 

Together with your Learning Design Leader colleagues, you will be the center of expertise for Learning Design and experiences that help our many colleagues to implement and grow the IKEA Concept. You interact with co-workers, subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand business needs and the challenges people face. You explore to figure out the most impactful way to meet learners with the knowledge and skills they need, in the environments they work in. You secure a level of standardization in the designs we use and are the go to person for the product teams in learning.

A few more details for you 

This is a full time role (40 hours per week), located in Delft, the Netherlands. This is a temporary position for one year. You will report to the Learning Creation Manager.
