About this role

The role of a Compliance Analyst ensures the company's adherence to country specific labour laws and regulations. Tasked with assessing internal practices and policies, the analyst will identify compliance gaps and propose actionable solutions. This mandate involves ongoing research and scrutiny of prevailing regulations set by governing bodies. By consistently evaluating and aligning practices, the analyst plays a pivotal role in maintaining the organisation's regulatory integrity through communication and training with the Employee Relations team.
The Compliance analyst will coordinate the operational activities within our organization and ensure compliance with governmental regulations and ordinances for JET. This role is not expected to have full knowledge of each European country's legislation but will benefit from experience and knowledge of the Netherlands, and Poland employment standards. Additional countries will be added through development into the role in the latter half of 2024. 
These are some of the key ingredients to the role

• Manage relationship with Payroll and work together to ensure country compliance and updates with employment standards 
• Reply to wage orders, unemployment claims, government correspondence etc.
• Communicate required legislative changes to key stakeholders and provide recommendations on how to align to country
• Coordinate all HR administrative documents for the employee life cycle
• Support various internal and external audits
• Conduct and maintain governance on people related laws, including; impact assessments, business policies and other employee impacting laws
• Provide recommendations to have consistent practices for Employee Relations across JET

What will you bring to the table?

• Preference for Diploma in Business, Human Resources, Analytics, and/or Immigration, 
• Preference of 2-5 years of relevant experience in Analytics or compliance related roles
• In-depth grasp of multi-country compliance, regulatory, and reputational risks
• Expertise in interpreting and ensuring adherence to laws, rules, and regulations across diverse jurisdictions.
• Strong ability to monitor and stay abreast of evolving regulatory trends and changes.
• Skills in formulating and implementing comprehensive company-wide policies and procedures.
• Proven record of advising businesses on intricate compliance matters.
• Effective management of audits, inquiries, and investigations.
• Exceptional communication skills for educating employees on policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in overseeing and testing risk management infrastructure.
• English language proficiency
