For our esteemed client FrieslandCampina, we are looking for a driven Machine Operator to join our production team. As a Machine Operator, you have an important role in our factory. You are responsible for solving malfunctions and carrying out repairs. To minimise breakdowns, you will be involved in preventive maintenance of the equipment.

You carry out work independently and prepare planned maintenance. You report on the work carried out and update the technical documentation where necessary. These reports help you analyse malfunctions. You manage the software and take care of process control back-ups.

How will you carry out all this work? Safe. At FrieslandCampina, working safely is paramount. To ensure this, FrieslandCampina offers you various tools to work safely. As a Machine operator you are not alone; you work closely with your fellow mechanics and work preparers. Together, you divide up the work and at the end of the shift, you hand your work over to your colleagues.

If you join Start People Zuivel (part of Start People B.V.) and start working for our client FrieslandCampina in Leerdam, these are the terms of employment:

• A fixed-term contract with the possibility of permanent employment;
• A full-time working week;
• Working hours are in a three-shift system: 07:00 - 15:00, 15:00 - 23:00, 23:00 - 07:00, from Monday to Sunday;
• You will receive shift bonuses ranging between 30% and 100% extra;
• Salary starts at €16.25 per hour;
• You will receive a travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre, even if you travel by public transport. The maximum allowance per day is €13.60.

• You have at least MBO 2 working or thinking level;
• You have a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one;
• You are flexible and willing to work in shifts;
• You are accurate, reliable and focused on cooperation;
• You attach great value to quality and results;
• You have technical insight and are good at analysing problems and identifying deviations;
• You are available for a full-time position.
