As the Manager accounting and reporting a.i. , you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, leading a hands-on team, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires a strong background in accounting, excellent hands-on leadership skills, and expertise in group structures and reporting.

Client Details

Our client operates in the manufacturing industry. The client is currently looking for a Manager accounting and reporting a.i. to support the Finance team in Heerenveen.

Description

As Manager accounting and reporting a.i. you are responsible for;

• Provide hands-on team management, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. (Note: This is not a role for someone who solely manages from a distance; we value active involvement and leadership.)
• Oversee day-to-day accounting and reporting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Lead the month-end close process for the group, coordinating with internal teams to meet deadlines and deliverables.
• Prepare for year-end financial reporting, including liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Utilize expertise in group structures to optimize financial reporting processes and provide insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with the team based in Heerenveen, spending three days per week on-site to support and engage with team members.

Profile

• Available as Mid June-1st July 2024
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Extensive experience in accounting roles, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
• Strong technical skills in accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Expertise in group structures and consolidated financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience or familiarity with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting is a plus.
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Fluent in English AND Dutch
• Knowledge in ERP system One Stream

Job Offer

• Assignment for 6 months ( Possibility of extension )
• Start Date: Mid June-1st July
• 40hrs
• Hybrid work is possible , 3 days at location in Heerenveen
