Manager Capital Management

As a member of Corporate Finance, you will be part of the team that is responsible for a wide range of financial and regulatory areas, as it includes financial and regulatory reporting, control, tax, and Capital Management. In your role as Manager of Capital Management, you will have first-line responsibility over DLLs capital strategy and planning, including forecasting future capital needs, identifying optimization opportunities considering changes in the economic environment, business expansions, and regulatory needs. The capital plan will be an integral part of the annual Mid-Term-Plan (MTP) process and includes the allocation of both regulatory capital as well as physical capital within DLL Group and business lines. You will need to work closely together with stakeholders in and outside finance for the identification of opportunities to make more efficient use of our capital and you will initiate activities to implement these opportunities. You will report to the Head of Corporate Finance.

Day to day:

  • Preparing the DLL Capital Strategy and a mid-term capital forecast for DLL Group.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for capital planning, which involves forecasting capital needs, and identifying optimization opportunities considering changes in the economic environment, business expansion, regulatory frameworks.
  • As part of the MTP process, prepare an annual Capital Plan including the allocation thereof to Business Units and Regions.
  • You will be the owner of the DLL Physical Capital Policy and should ensure adherence to this policy by the DLL entities.
  • Identify opportunities to make more efficient use of our capital and reduce Risk-Weighted Assets.
  • Monitor equity usage and capital adequacy and prepare timely and accurate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Initiate projects and activities to implement opportunities for further efficient use of capital and RWAs.
  • Support DLL countries in meeting local regulatory requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders in and outside of Corporate Finance to realize objectives for your area, including product reviews to obtain RWA reductions, where possible.
  • Manage and participate in (Rabobank & DLL) projects to implement new systems, procedures, and processes, in order to realise the desired project results through effective and consistent project management.
  • Representing Corporate Finance in the DLL Stress Testing Committee.

Essentials:

  • Academic background and working-level understanding of the CRR regulatory framework
  • Master’s degree in finance, economics or business administration
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in a relevant financial function, within the financial services industry
  • A natural interest in analyzing and solving complex (financial) problems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluent command of English (verbal and written)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
