As the Privacy Coordinator within Legal, you will provide comprehensive operations, communications, and project support to the Privacy and Digital Teams within Legal. You will support front line communication with our business clients, triage inquiries from within Nike, help unlock efficiencies that scale across the team to drive operational excellence and consistency for the team.


We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. The role is for 40 hours per week, with a 6 months contract to start.


What does the role involve?

You will be the main point of contact for the team in creating and maintaining the team’s key systems and processes to help the team run smoothly and efficiently with the assistance of the operations team. You will also serve as the primary contact for general team information, and partner with the communications team for creating team communications for internal stakeholders.


What will you be doing?

You’ll be responsible for the following core work to support the Privacy Team:


  • First line support and routing for all business teams when using self-service platforms and playbooks created by the Privacy and Digital teams within Legal.
  • Supporting our communications functions in the creation of playbooks, presentation decks, and summary materials.
  • Supporting our PMO function from an operations perspective, helping to assemble and distribute weekly and monthly project updates to x-functional stakeholders across all geographies.
  • Project Event planning and coordinating for quarterly all-team meetings, and semiannual offsites, and workshops with key business clients.
  • Managing travel approval processes, and coordination of travel for large meetings. - Provide operational support for the creation of Privacy team presentation materials related to training, on-boarding, scorecards, internal reporting or ad-hoc privacy related materials.
  • Facilitation of meetings, including preparing of meeting agendas and summary minutes.
  • Managing the team calendars, driving agendas and follow up of action items.
  • Managing team roster, organizational charts, and interfacing with CAO HR functions re: hiring, and new employee onboarding, and organizing and driving timelines for annual review (CFE) process throughout the calendar year from all team managers.
  • Support to privacy project management team on work tracks of limited scope and complexity.
  • Provide administrative support relating to calendar management, expense reporting, and travel for group events and larger team meetings.

  • Minimum 4 years' experience as an administrative assistant, department coordinator or other support role in a professional business environment
  • Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint/Keynote programs
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Previous experience creating, operating, and maintaining databases, systems and processes
  • Able to take comprehensive minutes of meetings
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, team environment and quickly grasp new concepts
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated diligence with the ability to take initiative, follow-through on requests until completion, and utilize a keen attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time and prioritize and carry out responsibilities independently and flexibly
