As a member of the Product Launch team, you will collaborate with Buyers and Planners in facilitating the seasonal onboarding process for new products within the Marketplace business.
In the role of Product Launch Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the onboarding of seasonal products across various Marketplace platforms, including About You, ASOS, and VEEPEE, as well as any upcoming Marketplaces. The main goal of this position is to lead the efficient onboarding of articles, prepare and map product data, address errors, and optimize rankings on Marketplace websites.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate an eagerness to delve into the workings of Fashion e-Commerce, possess a foundational understanding of fashion assortment and product categories, adapt quickly to new processes and tools, and maintain high standards in both individual performance and support provided.
The Team
The e-Commerce Product Launch team is a segment of the Merchandising team, providing assistance to Buyers and Planners in the seasonal onboarding process for new products across both the webshop and various Marketplaces. This collaborative team closely interacts with Buyers, Site Merchandisers, Platform Operations, Product Owners, and Marketplace teams. Their collective efforts aim to optimize the display of the product assortment on the website and marketplaces, enhancing both the front-end presentation and back-end data flow and operations, effectively integrating product and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely execution of seasonal product data onboarding for About You, ASOS, and Veepee, meeting Marketplace's data requirements.
- Assist in adapting new product data requirements for Marketplaces and markets, integrating them into daily Product Launch processes.
- Collaborate with Marketplace, Planning, Buying, and Omnichannel Operations teams to enhance Marketplace operational excellence and digital product roadmap.
- Conduct data mapping activities in TradeByte for About You, ASOS, and Veepee, ensuring swift and successful product onboarding.
- Monitor assortment reports maintenance through Data Analyst, tracking the latest live status of products per partner.
- Address and resolve product data errors within TradeByte according to Marketplace requirements, participating in Marketplace meetings to enhance ongoing processes.
Desired Skills AND Job Requirements:
- 2-3+ years of relevant Ecommerce Marketplace experience (Zalando, About You, etc).
- Proficient in product onboarding using Channel management tools (preferably TradeByte) and eCommerce tools (e.g., PIM).
- Experience with About You, ASOS, or Veepee is advantageous.
- Understanding of Fashion product data tagging/attribution.
- Strong Project Management and Stakeholder management skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
