Productmanager - Online Business Lending

We have an opening for an Online Product Manager to strengthen our teams in achieving this goal. You will take responsibility of digitalization topics, driving change in all aspects.

You're going to work on processes and software so our business customers can request a loan in an easy, digital way. By this, we remove the hassle for entrepreneurs, so they can focus on growing their business. In your team, you'll cooperate closely with frontend and backend developers, with UX designers and other product managers. On a regular day, you dive into data to analyze commercial opportunities and process optimizations, discuss ideas with other teams and our risk officers, and translate this into work for the developers to run and change your software. This is our agile way of working, empowering you with a lot of freedom, responsibility, and possibility to learn.  The job can be tough, but the results and the learnings are rewarding!

Who are we looking for?

You already have delivered nice projects:

• You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, in working with development teams at both frontend and backend. You are able to challenge engineers, and get them to deliver faster and with higher quality. From ideation to agile stories to testing: you know the drill.
• Commercial salesfunnels have no secrets for you. Online, you know how to address the deeper needs of the customer, and how to overcome their hesitations. Providing each customer with the best fitting product is your ambition. You breathe customer experience (relevant buzzwords are UX, design thinking, market research,  A/B-testing).
• You love both building new projects with big impact, as well as tinkering for months with small incremental changes to increase conversions. For you, it's the commercial result that counts.
• Teamwork and alignment. As said, we work in agile teams, within a complex organization. You are proactive, able to speak up, inspire with your ideas, but you also know when to listen. You can switch gears, and take the time to get stakeholders like risk managers along.

Next to that, you have:

• Master's degree (field of study less relevant)
• Analytical skills: you can structure problems, analyse data, and present conclusions based on your work
• Eye to detail, because what you do has direct impact on our customers
• Hands-on mentality, where you take on what is needed, instead of what is asked.
• Flexible, as we work agile, so nothing is set in stone and we strive to improve everyday
• Experience in banking, with a real plus on Business Lending experience
• Experience in an IT environment, or affinity to digital, in all it's marvellous extends.
• English is our main language, Dutch is a plus
