Reporting to the Sales Director Projects & Sustainability within Global Sales Europe organization and working with an expanded Emerson Projects team with a responsibility for Rotterdam and South Netherlands , you will work as Project Pursuit Manager (m/f/d) . You will need to be fluent in Dutch and English language . #LI-Remote
This is an active sales position that focuses on driving successful Project Pursuit strategies in line with the Project Certainty philosophy. Responsibilities include ensuring project qualification, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and collaborating with Sales Directors and Project organization. Special attention is given to the Sustainability & Decarbonization industry, working closely with key stakeholders to maximize Emerson's potential in this sector. Leading important initiatives, suggesting practical plans, and updating top-level management on progress are key aspects of this role.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Early identifications and engagements in feasibility phase of projects
Maintaining the project list and driving input to the Benelux and European project funnel
Ensuring effective pursuit teams are assembled
Ensuring proper quotation strategies, specification reviews, pricing strategy etc. are completed as part of the pursuit process
Aligning with the Project Management Office resources
Early awareness and visibility to key projects requiring deep discounting and the associated strategic justification for capturing the installed base
Identifying and suggesting Project Pursuit process improvements

For This Role, You Will Need:
Proven experience in a sales, business development, Project Pursuit or similar customer-focused positions within a relevant industry (e.g. chemical, oil & gas, refining)
Sufficient knowledge and confidence to provide coaching to Project Pursuit teams
Structure in following up on Pursuits and coordinating communication with Global collaborators and pursuit team members
Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships with key partners at customers and contractors
Verbal and written communication skills proficient in Dutch & English
Open to customer visits / travel (50%)
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Industry Automation background
Previous experience in a matrix organization, working with different types of customers: end-users, EPCs and OEMs
Involvement on Sustainability & Decarbonization projects
