SalarisPurpose of the position:
A challenging job for a professional SHEQ manager with experience within a production environment. You are steadfast and solution-oriented. You know how to get people on board, enthuse and, if necessary, confront them. You lead and manage safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) within all areas of the site(s). You are responsible for all environmentally relevant matters and within that you are the first point of contact for the government as well as the neighbouring companies and local residents. As a member of the Management Team, it is your job to motivate and encourage the organization to comply internally and externally with all applicable policies, procedures, regulations, legislation and NORIT values. You will manage local management systems, including taking care of the integration and maintenance/auditing of the required management systems.
What are you going to do?
- Leading and facilitating continuous improvement in the areas of safety, health, environment and quality.
- Lead and facilitate the development and implementation of training and other programs/activities necessary to ensure the maximum levels of the site(s).
- Monitoring proposed and existing regulations and legislation in the field of SHEQ and developing programs to ensure continued compliance.
- Contribute to the development of long-term planning, continuous improvement plans, global standards, budgets, and other business endeavors.
- Ensuring correct and effective communication with management and employees about SHEQ topics and action plans.
- Supervising, developing and evaluating employees in the field of SHEQ, providing guidance to operational, technical and support employees.
Are you the right candidate?
- Bachelor's degree in the field of quality, safety or the environment.
- At least 7 years of experience
- Extensive knowledge in the field of multiple SHEQ areas.
- Extensive knowledge of legislation in the field of SHEQ.
- Experience in a managerial role.
- Flexible in travel time and working environment.

What do we offer?
- A salary indication of 71,750 - 95,000 EUR on an annual basis depending on experience, room for negotiation.
- 25 vacation days per year.
- Holiday allowance of 8%
- A one-year contract with the intention of permanent employment.
