Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services with over 247 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films, and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching, as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

The EMEA Digital Media team aims to bring structure, scale and efficiencies to the EMEA region. The team manages over 120 unique title campaigns a year across 18 active markets in EMEA (except the UK), besides Brand and multi title campaigns as well as innovation and strategic initiatives with major platform partners such as Google and Meta.

Team Structure

The EMEA Digital Media manager will report to the EMEA Digital Media Senior Manager, alongside 2 other managers, and 1 coordinator. The EMEA Digital Media manager will have a set of markets to manage their local campaigns as well as support the markets on anything they need in the digital space. The EMEA Digital Media manager will also contribute to and oversee multiple strategic projects aimed at driving efficiency and innovation in Digital Media across EMEA.

Candidate Profile

The best candidate for this role has deep media knowledge across the digital space especially paid social and has a clear understanding of media buying on key platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, etc).

The candidate should have a solution-oriented mentality, be comfortable with receiving and giving feedback, challenge discussions and work in ambiguity with consistent changes and evolution in the business. The candidate carries a positive attitude with a natural ability to build trust and relationships with stakeholders.

  • Stakeholders Management

  • Natural ability to develop trust and relationships with country teams and other cross-functional partners such as Media Ops, Planning and Production.

  • Lean into curiosity to understand each others’ needs, and adapt to different ways of working in a scalable and efficient way.

  • Work well with the Digital Media agency, and develop a deep trustworthy relationship with external partners.

  • Strategic Thinking

  • Broader picture thinking that contributes to the discussions about the work on a macro level vs too tactical.

  • Be a strategic thought partner to the countries by providing input into the country strategy, setting a learning agenda that is in alignment with where the market is heading and gathering insights in the digital space that can contribute to the success of the country plans/campaigns.

  • Media Expertise

  • Deep knowledge when it comes to Digital Media: paid social, search, programmatic, display.

  • Drive innovative thinking and ideas to the countries, and challenge the agency partner to continuously optimize ways of working.

  • Operations

  • Understand the operational foundation of paid social and what it takes.

  • Part of the tooling and workflow optimization discussions.

  • Push production efficiency in the campaigns you work on.

  • Have knowledge of what works and doesn’t work in the digital space, especially paid social.

  • Provide creative guidance and insights to the countries when developing the title campaigns.
