Regulatory Affairs Manager - Biocidal Products

As the Regulatory Affairs Manager for Biocidal Products, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet regulatory standards and compliance requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate the regulatory landscape and drive successful registrations. This role is vital to maintaining the trust of our customers and ensuring the safety and efficacy of their products.

Although the primary responsibility of this role revolves around product registrations within the BENELUX region, you will also be an integral part of the Global Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs Teams. This affiliation provides you with exposure to a broader working group, granting valuable insights into various regulatory processes, fostering continuous learning and development. In relation to expanding your expertise, our client boasts an extensive portfolio encompassing a diverse range of Biocidal products across various Biocidal Families. Beyond the scope of the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR), this role will also encompass regulatory considerations associated with Detergents, Cosmetics, and other pertinent regulations within the FMCG sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Lead the development and implementation of regulatory strategies for Biocidal Products, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Product Registration: Oversee the preparation and submission of registration dossiers for Biocidal Products, working closely with regulatory agencies to obtain approvals.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments for Biocidal Products, providing expert guidance on safety, efficacy, and environmental impact.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Marketing, to integrate regulatory considerations into product development and marketing strategies.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Keep abreast of regulatory changes and updates, proactively communicating potential impacts on products. Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required.
  • Audit Readiness: Ensure readiness for regulatory audits, responding to inquiries and requests promptly and accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Proven experience in Regulatory Affairs, with a focus on Biocidal Products.
  • In-depth knowledge of European and international regulatory requirements for Biocidal Products.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
