Job title:

You will be primarily responsible to drive the Brand & Partnership strategy towards different audiences including the 10,000 Philips employees in the Netherlands.

Your role:

  • Protect and strengthen the Philips’ reputation and brand as a health technology leader

  • Develop and manage the execution of the strategic brand and communications plan to create a love brand to support strategic market and marketing objectives in our home market (as opposed to marcom and sales comms support), including:

  • Creation and execution of Brand & sponsoring campaigns, with a media strategy, using paid, earned and owned media, online and offline.

  • Driving earned coverage in top tier media outlets (e.g. business national dailies, weeklies, broadcast, radio) and healthcare/tech trade media

  • Supporting the paid social media strategy of thought leadership programs across media, Government, Academia and other audiences to grow Philips' mindshare in health technology.

  • Local execution of internal communications & engagement on brand visio and local brand custodianship

  • Strategic planning and managing the execution of local partnership and sponsorship communications

  • Relationship owner of key partnership with Sponsoring & CSR partners. Responsible for devising a partnership strategy & strategic plan per partner.

  • Strategic paid media planning and evaluation of impact via a set KPI & measurement system.

  • Develop Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in line with the overall strategic priorities

  • Drive Employee Communication on the Brand & Sponsoring programs.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, communications, journalism or similar.

  • Preferably more than 5 years' relevant experience in (internal and external) communications or a communications-related role in a complex organization, including experience of working with, or for, media outlets.

  • Great creative communications skills, you speak and write at near native level in Dutch

  • Experience in converting complex communications issues into concrete strategic people communications plans and their effective implementation.

  • Experience in making results measurable and transparent.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver to deadlines.

  • Decisive, proactive attitude.

  • Excellent project- and event management skills and ability to deal with a range of projects simultaneously
