As a Senior Content Strategist, Writer and Editor you devise content strategy and create a consistent stream of impactful content across themes relating to ESG, innovation, sustainability and design to be leveraged across regions and businesses. Content that helps build the reputation of Philips as a leader in health technology and drives engagement.
Your responsibilities
As an integral member of the Content creation team, your main responsibilities are to:
Devise and oversee content strategies for specific topics, channels and/or programs, such as the company’s thought leadership program
Develop compelling content and messaging – planned and ad hoc – for key internal and external audiences and stakeholders
Give editorial guidance and creative direction to support the development and activation of high-quality content by audience (e.g. C-suite and clinical segments, B2G)
Drive efficiency, efficacy and financial gain through standardization and scaling of our content activities across multiple touchpoints (ie: digital, events, etc.)
Ensure a high quality of work according to brand guidelines, key messaging and team ambitions
Your team
You report to the Head of the Communications Center of Excellence (CCoE). The CCoE is a team of communication specialists who oversee global Philips strategic communications planning and programs, content strategy and creation, social and digital channel management and related measurement. It is part of the global Communications & Brand function.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following:
At least 5-8 years professional experience in writing and devising content strategies, particularly in a B2B and/or B2G environment
Master’s degree in a Communications, Marketing or a related area
Demonstrated track record in creating content specific to health technology
Ability to provide editorial guidance and creative direction across various content types
Native English
Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to maneuver in matrix organizations and interface with executives
Curiosity, energy and a pro-active and results-oriented approach
