Your Job

As a Senior Courier Coordinator with Just Eat Takeaway.com, your primary responsibility is to ensure the seamless operation of our food delivery services in Arnhem, Nijmegen, & Ede. You will be at the forefront of managing day-to-day activities within the Scoober, overseeing the activities of our drivers, and maintaining effective communication with the City Operations Manager and office colleagues. Your role involves coordinating the Courier Coordinator team, making ad-hoc decisions, and providing support where needed on the floor.

 What can you expect?

• Oversee smooth operations on a daily basis;
• Coordinating and training of your colleagues and the courier team;
• Replace the City Operations Manager during absences;
• Escalating issues and working on process improvements with your City Operations Manager;
• Helping with, among others, the check-in of couriers , administration of the materials, onboarding of couriers and more.

Your Profile

• Fluent English and Dutch are a plus;
• Experience in a similar role, like floor manager or assistant restaurant manager or Prior experience in a similar role within the food delivery or logistics industry;
• Skilled in Google Sheets or Excel;
• Familiarity with technology used in the logistics and food delivery industry;
• Solution-oriented approach and you don't mind getting your hands dirty;
• A natural leader, communicative and easily approachable;
• Collaborative mindset to work well with colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the team;
• Willingness to adapt to changing situations and handle unforeseen challenges;
• You are available to work on irregular shifts: weekends and evenings.
