Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Director, HR Business PartnerFood Solutions, EMEA will be the primary Business Partner for the Food Solutions EMEA Group Leadership Team.  This role will be responsible for developing the people and culture strategy and driving the operational implementation to the client group, as well as provide advice and guidance in relation to people issues for the Food Solutions EMEA. This role will collaborate with senior leaders and the HR COEs to deliver against core people levers and strategies, including culture, organizational design, leadership development, strategic workforce planning, talent management, team and organization effectiveness, and change management. This role sits on the group and CFB HR leadership team and will lead a team of HR professionals to advance organizational goals and key strategic initiatives.    

Key Accountabilities

  • Create and implement strategic leadership, diversity equity and inclusion and talent management strategies to optimize the current organization and execute business plans through utilization of high performing talent.
  • Build a diverse global team with a strong business oriented mentality and cultivate an environment of collaboration and enablement, effective and successful performance, improvement driven and dedication to business results.
  • Leverage metrics analytics as well as bring the outside in to assess the overall human and organization health of the business to influence decisions and deliver relevant insights.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to drive value in the business, remove barriers and pursue the resources needed for delivering effective human resources solutions.
  • Build strong relationships and actively partner with the global human resources organization to leverage appropriate expertise and deliver various human resources strategies and leverage appropriate expertise.
  • Develop strategic approaches and utilize expertise and knowledge in assessing people decisions for organic and inorganic growth opportunities.
  • Ensure the organizational designs, leadership development, strategic workforce plans, talent development and related people strategies are effective.
  • Provide mid- to long-term (three or more years) strategic leadership, development and talent management for multiple teams of directors and managers. You will develop mid- to long-term plans to optimize the organization, function or subfunction and the talent required to execute strategies in job area. You will inspire others by articulating the positive impact the organization can make, while creating an environment in which people know where they stand, including when they are performing poorly.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong organization and project management and problem solving skills, using sound business judgment in support of operational and strategic objectives
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience developing and delivering succinct, clear messages to a broad range of stakeholders
  • Advanced experience building relationships and trust and working with a cross functional, multiple location and culturally diverse team
  • Advanced experience positively influencing and collaborating with senior business and functional executives while engaging the entire scope of an organization
  • Confirmed experience in developing customer focused business strategies and translating them into actionable plans and delivery
  • Minimum 10 years of directly related work experience, minimum 7 years of supervisory experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree or other post-secondary degree
  • Professional certification in human resources
  • Knowledge of labor and employment laws and understanding of their impact on the business
  • Understanding of industrial and labor relations and collective bargaining process
