J&J Innovative Medicine Principal Operations belongs to the Innovative Medicine Companies of Johnson & Johnson. J&J IM Principal Operations is a global organization located in USA, Belgium, Ireland, The Netherlands, Singapore and Switzerland.
Within J&J IM Principal Operations, our mission is to provide diligent stewardship of the Innovative Medicine business model, by protecting and optimizing the product intellectual property (IP) structures in close collaboration with J&J Innovative Medicine Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, Tax and Treasury.

Currently we are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the J&J Innovative Medicine Principal Operations (IMPO) organization as part of the IMPO Trade Business team.
The IMPO Trade Business team is responsible – among others – for 1) managing the direct Trade Business activities of all IMPO companies in collaboration with various Business Operations and Supply Chain teams, 2) leading the transition services offered to 3 rd parties on divested products and businesses in close collaboration with Business Development organization, Commercial and Supply Chain teams globally, as well as 3) partnering across all functions with the PMP (Preservation & Material Protection) global business unit.
What you’ll do.
After the closing date of a divestment deal and until the buyer takes over sale of the product in the local market, J&J continues to sell the product on behalf of the buyer and subsequently transfers the “Net Economic Benefit” or NEB to the buyer. Timing of this transfer is typically done on a quarterly basis. The Trade Business team is responsible for the calculation of the Net Economic Benefit (NEB) and a smooth execution of the deal from a finance point of view.
As a Senior Financial Analyst in the Trade Business team your key responsibilities will be:
You will be responsible for the calculation of the Net Economic Benefit (NEB) and sales reporting for all divestment projects.
You will manage all active Transitional Supply Agreements (TSAs) and Transitional Business License Agreements (TBLAs).
You will be reviewing and providing advice on the contractual financial mechanisms for future divestments and collaboration agreements.
You will be the main finance point of contact for Menarini for the Invokana/Vokanamet EMEA distribution deal. You will be managing actual and budget reporting, yearly price calculations and reconciliation, country business case assessments.
You will be engaging with external parties.
You will partner closely with various teams across the organization: Business Development, Supply Chain, Commercial organizations, Tax, Legal, J&J IMPO Finance teams etc.
You will be responsible for the actual and budget reporting of the divestment P&L and piece of the Global Public Health (GPH) P&L.
You will participate in projects such as SigniFi and take initiative to implement process improvements (via digital tools).
For Processes in your scope, you will maintain high compliance standards via SOX documentation and managing audit requests.
You will perform ad hoc financial analysis.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who has the following profile / qualifications:
Finance / accounting background with a minimum of 4 years of relevant business experience.
Strong technical accounting expertise and analytic skills with the ability to balance big picture with attention to detail.
Fluent verbal and written communication in English
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required. Experience with SAP, Anaplan/CFIN is preferred.
Must work well in a dynamic team environment and possess a hands-on mentality with a continuous mindset to challenge, improve and optimize current processes.
Pro-active in connecting and energized to collaborate across functions.
Team player – able to balance own interests with those of the team.
