Cognizant is seeking a Senior GoLANG / Java Developer with strong experience to join our team.
Job Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)
Job Summary:
· As a GeoSpatial Sr. GoLANG/Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining GeoSpatial applications using Core Java, Spring Core, and Java.
· You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and implement solutions.
· Additionally, you will troubleshoot and debug issues, optimize application performance, and ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.
· Provable proficiency in Go programming.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Knowledge in Java or Python is recommended.
· Portfolio of work with examples that showcase technical skill.
· Strong analytical skills, time management and organizational skills.
· Knowledge of Go templating common frameworks and tools.
· Experience working with a team learning and exploring new technology and frameworks which support the business growth.
· Designing and developing the backend platform based on GoPerforming testing and coding to meet the business requirements for both Mobile and Web Applications.
· Writing specs for highly technical features.
· Researching and developing the latest technologies for team collaborate with other technical staff to deliver and maintain a fully functional software implementation, passion for software engineering to work for creating highly immersive user application duties will include maintaining code repositories via GitHub and internal server storage modules Implement feedback and changes whenever possible.
· Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project.
· Responsible for designing system solutions developing custom applications and modifying existing applications to meet distinct and changing business requirements.
· Handle coding debugging and documentation as well working closely with SRE team.
· Provide post implementation and ongoing production support.
· Develop and design software applications translating user needs into system architecture.
· Assess and validate application performance and integration of component systems and provide process.
· Understands working in an Agile environment and use of Rally/JIRA tools.
Roles/Responsibilities (Day-to-Day candidate’s responsibilities):
· Agile software development
· Analyze requirements from Product Owners and Managers
· Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
· Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility.
· Write well-designed, testable code.
· Software testing and defects resolution
· Integrate software components into a fully functional system.
· Deploy tested software to Production environment.
· Supports post-implementation validations.
· Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
· Follows organizations policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
· Go LANG: 3 – 4 years.
· Java: 8 – 10 years.
· Spring Boot, Core Java / J2EE, Microservices, APIs
