Are you the perfectionist who can plan meetings and gatherings down to the last detail? And do you turn this into a memorable experience? If your answer is Yes I Can, then we are looking for a driven and enterprising Senior Meeting & Events Planner like you!

As Senior Meeting & Events Planner in our hotel, no day or event is the same. With our 20 meeting rooms and our Pearl ballroom, which can accommodate at least 750 guests, you will have every opportunity to organise some of the largest events in Amsterdam.

The day starts with a quick tour of the Meeting & Events Academy (Meeting Gallery with 19 modern rooms and 1 large ballroom) where you welcome your group's contact person. You discuss whether there are any changes and how you can further assist them. After this, you visit your colleagues from the Meeting & Events Operations team and communicate the changes and feedback from the previous day. On the way to the office, you get a cup of coffee where you then start working on your emails.

Then it's time to get started with the function sheets. You know that perfect documentation of the discussed details is the 'key to success' for the groups to go home happy and satisfied. Because if we can exceed the client's expectations, the client will definitely come back for the next event!

What do your day and job responsibilities look like? Basically, you make sure that everything that is contractually agreed in writing runs smoothly in practice at the actual venue. This means that you;

· Facilitate site inspections to potential bookers

· Plan meetings and events carefully

· Know how to make last-minute changes within no-time

· Hold preliminary discussions with the contact person on site

· Ensure that executive departments are aware of appointments and details

· Every booker, contact or meeting guest returns home satisfied and can't wait to book with us again

· Resolve problems and handle complaints

· Prepare and attend the weekly function sheet meetings

· Question and coach your colleagues in the M&E Planning team

· Assist the Department Manager in ensuring invoices are finalized, commission calculations are made and financial reports are accurate
