Position Summary
The Senior Operational Excellence Manager will help drive growth and optimization of Leiden cell therapy site. In this role, the successful candidate will ensure Operational Excellence efforts are well defined, prioritized, and positioned to deliver.
Additionally, will act as a key driver for organizational development moving towards a self-reliant continuous improvement site. This role will engage directly with functional area owners to assess and develop functional area capability through capacity, cost and or quality drivers.
Key Responsibilities
Change agent within site, who will drive development and execution of Operational Excellence roadmap
Plan & lead continuous improvement initiatives to successful completion and realization of tangible benefits
Fosters a culture of Operational Excellence through coaching and developing a continuous improvement organization
Experience
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and extensive experience in implementing Lean Six Sigma/continuous improvement capabilities within an organization
Extensive experience in developing, coaching, implementing Operational Excellence capabilities and continuous improvements across the value stream
Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to align (continuous) improvement initiatives to business objectives and strategy
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
Professional experience at global corporate(s) and educational background in Biomedical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering sector is preferred
