Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join the Project Lead Pillar from the Engineering Team. This is a role where you can perform in two different ways.
As a Project Engineer you are a team member of high complexity project (CAPEX > 3 M EUR), contributing to the execution of projects and owning certain aspects of the project. You define multiple solutions for the business needs, come to a final best solution, translate scope into quotation packages. You check and approve engineering documentation by verifying if that it is in-line with the Dutch, European and Janssen Biologics standards, coordinate major modifications/equipment installation together with construction supervisors and the business-unit organizations. You represent engineering in the change meetings and change control assessments and manage progress, quality, and scope with external engineering firms, on site contractors and customers.
As a Project Lead, you take full ownership of medium complexity projects (< 3 M EUR). You apply Flawless Project eXecution (FPX, J&J standard processes for project management), empowering teams by your leadership skills to deliver the final project objectives. You define the project-scope, budget and timelines and agree this in the Project Brief. You handle project contracts and purchase order and are accountable to ensure business continuity and the financial compliance related to your projects. You meet the pre-requisites on Safety, Health, Environment, GMP and reliability as it belongs to an installation or process to manufacture an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API).
Qualifications
We would love to hear from YOU, if you have the following qualifications
Working experience as an engineer in projects in a multidisciplinary environment (pharmaceutical area or equivalent).
Technical (Engineering) education.
This role is open to applicants who wish to work part-time (80% of a working week), or job share, or who are returning to the workplace after a career break.
