Are you ready to take the lead in driving transformative change across global supply chain operations? Do you thrive on collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and effectiveness? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Automotive and Specialty Coatings Business Operations Project Management Office team as a Project Manager. You will be working in an international environment and join a team of ca. 8 people.  This role is based in our Headquarters in Amsterdam
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing projects aimed at improving the end-to-end Operational processes. Your responsibilities will include analysing business needs, identifying improvement opportunities, coordinating project execution, and ensuring successful outcomes aligned with our business strategy and objectives. You'll have the chance to lead continuous improvement initiatives, foster a culture of innovation, and drive sustainability in our operations.
 

Responsibilities

  • Analyse business needs, define project objectives, and implement process/system improvements.
  • Develop and maintain project portfolios, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the BU.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process enhancements and capability improvements.
  • Coordinate project deliverables, manage risks, and lead project team meetings.
  • Build stakeholder networks, provide tactical and strategic support, and collaborate on AN-wide initiatives.

 

What do you need to have to be successful in this role?

  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certification in CI, Project Management, or APICS CSCP preferred.
  • Operational experience in different business functions/ departments
  • Candidates must possess either a robust project management background or a strong operational background and should have some experience in the respective other area, coupled with a demonstrated ambition to enhance their proficiency in it.
  • Familiarity with cross-functional processes.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial understanding.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, SAP, BI, or other relevant systems.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and engagement skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of cultural behaviours and willingness to travel internationally.
