About the role / Segment
Our R&D team in Breda consists of 24 engineers, who are responsible for the design of analog and digital hardware, embedded software and firmware, and driver and application software. This team works very close with our teams in Belgium, Romania and Germany, as well as with external partners.
Responsibilities
The function will have as main responsibilities:
• Development and maintenance of regression tests for our embedded hardware platform.
• Extending the regression tests with support for newly developed features.
• Report and analyze issues that result from these regression tests
• Report on the results in (sprint) release decision meetings
• Development and maintenance of small PC, either Linux or Windows, based tools for the PI/production department
Profile Requirements
Knowledge of and experience with cucumber / gherkin test tools
Knowledge of and experience with Jenkins
Experience in working with Linux, Ubuntu, docker images
Experience in: Javascript; Python ; C/C+Basic knowledge of Digital Signal Processing
Certificate in TMAP or ISTQB foundation level
Knowledge of hardware development, CAN protocols, Ethernet, network protocols, Ethercat, electrical signals, digital signal theory
Fluent in written and spoken English.
