Services Key Account Manager

The main purpose of a Services Key Account Manager (KAMS) is to be the main interface for the customer on the service business and quality. KAMS applies value selling to grow the service business in profitable way based on deep knowledge of customer operations and needs, is always responsible for at least one Key Account, lead customer relationship at all sites.

What you will do

  • Lead customer relationship from a service perspective through a structured communication approach
  • Lead implementation and follow-up in alignment with customer and KAM-team. 
  • Lead creation of quality plans and participate in implementation and follow-up of targets per Key Account in line with customer and KAM-team
  • Lead opportunity management, cross selling and up selling and fact-based value proposal, negotiate and close deals
  • Lead growth of profitable service contracts 
  • Identify sales opportunities, create solution and fact-based value proposal, negotiate and close deals and drive growth of profitable service contracts
  • Participate in follow-up value delivered, customer satisfaction and profitability on service business with customer and internally
  • Manage internal interfaces and customer to assure efficient delivery of service and quality account plans
  • Participate resolution of technical issues by being responsible for communication with customer and issue driver
  • Lead services dimension in project lifecycle management to ensure new equipment is effectively handed over to services.

We believe you have

  • Master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or any related fields
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in maintenance management in the food industry
  • Good knowledge of English is mandatory, Business fluent proficiency Dutch and French knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Project management experience, deep understanding of maintenance challenges in the food industry
  • Experience in Customer relationship management, technology industries and sales experience will be an asset.
  • Strong people skills, and conflict management skills, customer orientation, proactivity, adaptability, team player, organized and strategical thinking.
