Job Title:Snowflake Architect (onsite)
Job Location: Manhattan, NY
Roles & Responsibilities:
§ Work closely with our clients in understanding their needs and translating them to technology solutions.
§ Work closely with our clients in understanding their needs and translating them to technology solutions.
§ Recommend solutions to improve new and existing Data warehouse solutions.
§ Build Data Flows mapping Source systems and Process flows.
§ Assemble large, sophisticated data sets that meet non-functional and functional business requirements.
§ Monitor and manage Azure resources and services to ensure optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
§ Experience in Data Migration from RDBMS(Oracle)/MongoDb to Snowflake cloud data warehouse2.
§ Experience with ECP (Enterprise Cloud Platform)
§ Understanding of enterprise data management concepts (Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Sharing, Data Applications)
§ Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using Snowpipe, implementing stored procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts.
§ Expertise in Snowflake concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features.
§ Effective and persuasive in both written and verbal communication.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $99,000.00 – $140,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
