As Software Project Lead, you will be the person spearheading state-of-the-art software development projects for the Charger Embedded Firmware Team. You will be responsible for driving development projects of embedded firmware plat-forms and products through the entire lifecycle. From initial concept, up to end of life. Together with your passionate project team members, you strive towards delivering high-quality projects while meeting our competitive timelines. You will be part of an agile and multi-disciplinary team within the bigger Software Team, based in Delft. You will report to the Global Charger Embedded Firmware Lead. Will you answer the call to be the heart and soul of our daily software innovations?

Your responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end execution of Software Projects, ensuring on-time de-livery and high-quality results.
• Champion agile methodologies to enhance flexibility and adaptability in project workflows.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless communication and knowledge sharing.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team members, resolving technical challenges and ensuring best practices are followed.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements to drive continuous improvement in development processes.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, implementing effective risk management strategies to ensure project success.
• Monitor and report on project performance.

Your background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical fields.
• 10+ years of experience in leading embedded Software Projects, develop-ing industrial products.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages/ tools, firmware tech-nologies included.
• Knowledge of agile project management tools. Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Experience in Agile and Scrum best practices.
• Experience in the EV Charging industry is a plus.
• You have excellent communication and leadership skills
• You are an agile and flexible professional, who always goes the extra mile in experimenting and finding innovative solutions. You love to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, full of change. Driven to achieve tight goals, and motivated by the mission of the organization you are in-volved with.
• Strong written & verbal communication in English.
