Sr Associate Order to CashBusiness Support

At Amgen Breda, medicines are labeled, assembled, stored, and eventually shipped to various countries worldwide. Every day more than 1000 people from 38 different nationalities are working on supply chain processes, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of our medicines and clinical research into new medicines.

What you will do

As a vital member of the Supply Chain team, your role involves identifying improvement opportunities, implementing strategies to enhance business performance, and overseeing GSHE compliance-related activities and GxP records.

In your capacity as the Sr. Associate Order to Cash, you will offer expert guidance and support to the department in all matters related to Good Distribution Practices (GDP). Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful advancement of transformative initiatives.

In this vital role, you will:

  • Provide appropriate and accurate GxP expertise to guide compliant distribution activities – Support (global) projects.

  • Manage department (GxP) impact assessment process.

  • Conduct comprehensive (GxP) impact assessments for changes, ensuring timely completion of assessments covering the entirety of GSHE processes.

  • Act as SME in (ad hoc) internal and external audits/inspections. Support in the overall coordination of activities.

  • Oversight & management of departmental controlled documents and change control records, ensuring compliance with global processes and standards.

  • Governance of the Training Assignment Portfolio (TAP) to ensure compliance and inspection readiness.

  • Oversee distribution complaints records.

  • Initiate, participate, and lead cross-functional efficiency initiatives to enhance business performance.

  • Support the progress of end-to-end (E2E) transformational activities within the organization.

  • Support the integration of distribution activities as part of the overall transformation strategy.

  • Manage business continuity planning activities, including annual simulations, in line with global strategy.

  • Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in line with global requirements, collaborating with other departments as needed.

What we expect of you

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The Sr Associate Order to Cash professional we seek is an eye detailed with these qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent in logistics/Supply Chain, Business Administration or Life Science.

  • At least 3 year’s relevant working experience, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with a strong knowledge of supply chain management, Order-to-Invoicing and international trade principles.

  • 3 or more years of related professional experience in a highly regulated (GxP) environment.

  • Working knowledge and understanding of GMP regulations, advanced understanding of GDP (Good Distribution Practices) guidelines, and SOX regulations.

  • Operational Excellence expertise.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication.

  • Excellence in working with MS Office and experience with ERP system, preferably SAP.

  • Fundamental project management skills.

  • Proven ability to drive and implement process improvements.
