Join Our Team as a Supply Planning Project Manager!
Are you ready to take the lead in revolutionizing supply chain planning? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Supply Planning Project Manager. In this role, you'll be an integral part of a dynamic team, working closely with approximately 7 team members and reporting directly to the Industrial Performance Director Decorative Paints EMEA. Based in Sassenheim, you'll collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders including Operations, Key Users, Centers of Excellence (CoE), and Information Management (IM), operating within a vibrant international environment.
 

Responsibilities

  • Drive Digital Transformation: Play a pivotal role in our regional digital transformation program by spearheading the implementation of the OPR module (Operational Planning and Scheduling) within OMP, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with organizational planning processes and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between system implementation and planning processes, conducting comprehensive GAP assessments to identify potential risks, report issues, and develop effective mitigation action plans at the regional level.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and lead UAT efforts, preparing Key Users (KU) and End Users (EU) through comprehensive training sessions, providing ongoing support to ensure smooth adoption and utilization within the region.
  • Cultural Transformation: Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and adaptability within the organization, driving continuous improvement and excellence in supply chain planning practices.

 

What do you need to have to be successful in this role?

  • Educational Background: A graduate or post-graduate degree in science, engineering, mathematics, or business.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain Planning and/or Consulting, with at least 3 years dedicated to implementing Supply Chain Planning Solutions, ideally within OMP or comparable platforms such as Kinaxis, SAP IBP, or others.
  • Expertise: A strong understanding of supply chain planning, demand planning, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills coupled with adept relationship management abilities, essential for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
