Technical Specialist - Facilities Management

• NES Fircroft is helping a Dutch-speaking network operator find a Technical Specialist - Facilities Management, and the contract role comes with an attractive hourly rate.
As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for the maintenance of all assigned installations and all accessories and parts (E+W assets) inside the company's Data Centres. You will prevent disruptions, reduce the duration of disruptions, and perform preventive maintenance.
In a typical week, your job will include the following:

• Be responsible for the outsourced services of the Projects & Technology department and ensure the performance of contracting parties aligns with objectives
• Manage risk, bottlenecks and obstacles to progress
• Monitor the safety of installations and executive staff
• Manage maintenance and follow-up malfunctions to installations
• Ensure colleagues have the correct knowledge and skills
• Play a guiding role in the preparation and implementation of the maintenance process in the broadest sense.

To apply for this Technical Specialist Data Centers role, you will need a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar function and must be able to work independently within a data centre environment. You will also need:

• An MBO in Electrical Engineering or equivalent training
• Hold a Stipel Certification IV/WV Low Voltage
• An understanding of technical maintenance and technical integrity of installations
• The ability to switch gears and implement technical maintenance guidelines and operational procedures
• Good technical judgement.
